Each tablet contains:
Ketorolac 10 mg

It belongs to the class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It has various properties such as antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory. It shows similar potential to that opioid analgesic i.e. morphine.

Mechanism of Action

Ketorolac inhibits the prostaglandin synthesis by inhibiting cyclooxygenase 1 and cyclooxygenase enzyme. Ketorolac shows maximum binding with cox-2 thus inhibits inflammation and pain mediated by prostaglandins.


Absorption: It is absorbed rapidly by oral administration
Protein Binding: It is highly bound to proteins
Metabolism: It undergoes hydroxylation and conjugation in the liver
Excretion: It is excreted via urine

  • Contraindicated in chronic heart failure
  • Contraindicated in haemorrhage in brain
